I decided to try the low (1.5cm heel) version of these insoles in my high-top trainers, which had nearly flat footbeds. They arrived neatly packaged in a stylish sealed bag, accompanied by a helpful double-sided instruction sheet.
Trimming the insoles for a perfect fit was straightforward; I first followed the printed size outlines and then made final adjustments to suit my shoes. The insoles feature a durable honeycomb design that offers excellent support, but you’ll need a sharp pair of scissors for precise trimming.
The manufacturer wisely advises against using these insoles in shoes that squeeze your toes against the upper, and I found the 1.5cm lift to be just right for my flat trainers, providing enough space for my toes.
After wearing them for extended periods, I’ve found the insoles to be surprisingly comfortable, showing no signs of slipping or movement within the shoes. The slightly elevated heels are incredibly comfortable, and the honeycomb structure effectively cushions heel impacts. My spouse had a knee replacement, and now that leg is longer. This product is perfect for balancing while walking, especially during therapy. I will definitely use it again for the next knee replacement!

I purchased these insoles for a specific reason: I use heated insoles in my ski boots, which have a battery under the heel that raises it by about 1.4 cm. I needed non-heated insoles with a similar heel height for warmer days when I don’t require heat. While these insoles serve my purpose, I found them to be slightly thinner than advertised.
Using a caliper, I measured the heel thickness, which is around 1.25 cm at the center (excluding the slightly raised wall of the heel cup), rather than the advertised 1.5 cm. The toe area measures 0.4 cm in thickness. The insoles are quite firm and don’t compress much under weight. The small nubs on the bottom may compress a bit, but I anticipate these insoles will maintain most of their thickness, which is essential for my ski boots.
One thing to note if you plan to use them for walking is the lack of built-in arch support. As mentioned, these insoles are fairly firm, providing some cushioning without being overly soft.
Overall, while they do provide a modest height increase, it’s slightly less than advertised. These insoles are best suited for those seeking firm support rather than a soft, cushioned feel.

These supports are quite comfortable, but they do elevate your height by over an inch. Depending on your shoes, they may or may not fit properly. I noticed that with these great boots, there’s more ankle space and room to tie your laces. I tried them with a pair of size 12 slip-on loafers, but the back of my feet did stick out. Despite that, I was still able to walk comfortably. It took me a little while to get used to the sensation. They are well-made and provide effective pain relief.

This insole has two main issues in my opinion: First, it lacks a proper arch support. As shown in the images, there is no supportive curvature in the midfoot area. Secondly, while the heel area provides good cushioning (especially in the 3.5 cm version), the front, around the ball of the foot, is much thinner. The claim of being “shock-absorbing” only applies if you land on your heel after a jump, not when landing on the ball of your foot or toes. At EUR 17.99 (as of May 15, 2024), I find the price a bit steep for what it offers.

I have several pairs of insoles, so I simply aligned one that was already cut to size with the lines and chose the closest match. This eliminates any guesswork, as the lines guide you for a perfect shape and length. The added height at the heel is quite noticeable, but it may not be suitable for all types of shoes. I primarily use it in my sneakers, but I find it easy to switch between shoes, so I also use it in other styles that don’t already have a raised heel.

They come in three thickness options, allowing you to choose your desired lift, and are available in various shoe sizes. The toe end of the insoles has markings for cutting to size if needed.
I simply placed them in my size 7 (UK) boots, and that was it. They are incredibly comfortable for walking, and I’ve gained nearly an inch in height! One thing to keep in mind is that you might need to get longer laces since the extra height raises the tongue of the shoe, as shown in the photos.
