These work exceptionally well if you have enough space in your shoes. I recommend ordering a half size larger in both width and length for a more comfortable fit. I only used them in my right shoe because I am one inch shorter on that side due to a hip replacement. They are very comfortable for me.

Choosing an insole larger than 1” can lead to discomfort, poor fit (your heels will slip out), and an unnatural appearance (making your legs look overly long). This insole is just right. It adds a bit of height, feels comfortable, and has significantly improved my posture while walking.

I ordered the large size and had to trim them down. The pads have clear markings at the top indicating where to cut for sizes 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, etc., and regular scissors work perfectly for this.
I’m about 5’7″ and weigh 200 lbs. Initially, I intended to use them in a desert shoe, but they fit too tightly. So, I bought a size 10.5 chukka boot a week ago and found them to fit well and be comfortable. I’ve worn those boots to work twice now, spending the entire day in them, and I can say the pads make walking around much more comfortable. They provide more cushioning than going without them. While the shoes weren’t uncomfortable without the pads, the added padding really enhances the experience.
The 1″ lift isn’t so high that it feels like I’m wearing men’s heels. However, it doesn’t noticeably make me feel taller either—maybe it’s just psychological. Regardless, I think any boost is beneficial, especially considering the price and the comfort they offer.
While it’s not a miraculous transformation, I believe it’s a solid value and would purchase again. In fact, I’m considering getting another pair of my desert shoes in size 10.5 to use these pads in.
