I purchased these with the intention of replacing an external lift for my leg length discrepancy. Since 2.5cm is exactly an inch, I had high hopes they would work. Unfortunately, they are too soft and compress significantly while walking, which isn’t ideal for addressing a leg issue. I understand they are marketed as height increasers, but I wanted to give them a shot because I miss having multiple pairs of wearable shoes.

High-quality product with excellent materials. It’s both firm and soft, maintaining its shape without much compression. Unlike those gimmicky gel insoles, it’s not springy or spongy. I ordered two pairs, so I received a total of four insoles, which is a great deal!

I didn’t buy these inserts to gain height; I needed them because my leather Sperrys were rubbing against my ankle bones painfully, and I wanted a bit of lift to alleviate that. These inserts turned out to be the ideal solution.
Initially, you might find these inserts quite uncomfortable, which is common with any heel lift. After my first wear, I would have said things like “these hurt my feet” or “the floor feels softer.” It’s important to allow your shoes some time to stretch and accommodate the thicker insert. For leather shoes, using a leather stretching spray can help speed up the process. Keep in mind that any heel lift may not work well in non-stretchable materials. Once everything has adjusted, you’ll really appreciate them.
Make sure to measure properly before selecting the thickness. Going too thick could cause your heels to slip out of the shoes. You’ll likely want to remove the original inserts, so consider that in your measurements.

I’m a men’s size 8 and purchased a women’s size 7, which fit perfectly. For running shoes, I wouldn’t recommend anything higher than 1.5 inches as it can feel cramped. With the shoe’s own insert, you get about a 1.5-inch lift. They’re very comfortable, providing a flat feel rather than the elevated sensation typical of most elevator shoes. Great support overall.
